Nina brings years of experience supporting women through pregnancy, birth and postnatal recovery. Her approach is compassionate, holistic and grounded in clinical knowledge.
Jasmine supports women and couples to feel calm, capable and informed using hypnobirthing techniques and birth preparation tools.
Together, we provide a balanced, supportive and empowering antenatal experience in Suffolk.

1 / What is the Conscious Preparation for Birth and Beyond course?
This is a complete antenatal preparation course designed to help you approach birth and early parenthood with knowledge, confidence and calm. It combines evidence-based antenatal education, hypnobirthing tools, practical preparation for labour and birth, and guidance for the early weeks with your baby.
The course also explores emotional preparation, nervous system regulation and conscious transition into parenthood, helping you feel more grounded and supported as you prepare to welcome your baby.
2 / What will we learn during the course?
The course covers a wide range of topics to help you feel prepared for both birth and early parenting, including:
• Understanding how labour and birth work
• How hormones influence labour and the birth environment
• Breathing, relaxation and hypnobirthing techniques
• Practical comfort measures and positioning for labour
• How partners can actively support during birth
• Tools for informed decision-making

You will also learn practical baby care skills such as reading newborn cues, bonding, sleep basics and nappy changing.
3 / How long is the course?
The course consists of 10 hours of teaching, delivered over four weekly sessions of approximately 2.5 hours each.
This format allows time for learning, discussion and practice without feeling rushed or overwhelming.
4 / Where does the course take place?
The course takes place in 2 venues- Ipswich and Woodbridge, Suffolk, in a welcoming and supportive environment designed to help you relax and feel comfortable while learning.

5 / How much does the course cost?
The full antenatal course is £300 per couple, which covers all four sessions and includes teaching materials and refreshments.
Payment options may also be available.
6 / When should we take the course?
Most parents find it helpful to attend between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy, although you are welcome to join earlier if you would like more time to practise the techniques.
7 / Who teaches the course?
The course is taught by Nina Parnham, an experienced practising midwife with over 30 years of clinical experience in maternity care, alongside Jasmine from Jasmine Blossom Birth & Baby, a specialist in hypnobirthing and birth preparation.
Together they bring both professional knowledge and practical experience to support you through pregnancy, birth and the early postnatal period.
8 / Do partners attend the course too?
The course is designed for pregnant women and their partner or chosen birth companion who want to feel informed, calm and confident as they prepare for birth.
It is suitable for first-time parents as well as those who may have had a previous birth and would like a different or more conscious preparation this time.
